Phenix Optics Shines at OPIE 2026 in Japan, Drawing Global Attention with Its Full-Industry-Chain Strength

From April 22 to 24, the highly anticipated 2026 Optronics & Photonics International Exhibition (OPIE) was held at the Pacifico Yokohama Convention Center in Yokohama, Japan. As one of Asia’s largest and most comprehensive exhibitions dedicated to optoelectronics and laser technologies, OPIE 2026 brought together cutting-edge innovations from around the world, attracting a large number of international visitors and industry experts.

Under the theme “Optics Perceives the World, Electronics Powers the Future,” Phenix Optics made a powerful appearance at Booth H-35, showcasing a wide range of innovative products including precision optical components, metal parts, various types of lenses, high-end microscopes, and intelligent controllers. The exhibition highlighted the company’s vertically integrated capabilities, spanning from optical elements to intelligent controllers.
Component Business Division: Manufacturing Strength in Precision Optics and Metal Components
In the field of precision optical components, Phenix Optics displayed a full range of products including spherical lenses, flat lenses, aspherical lenses, cylindrical lenses, and prisms. In screen printing and pad printing technologies, the company has achieved full-surface coverage and extreme printing tolerances, widely used in high-end manufacturing sectors such as automotive, mobile phones, and cameras, demonstrating exceptional craftsmanship.

In the metal components segment, Phenix Optics presented products including surface-treated metal parts, lens barrels, cam curve tubes, die-cast and precision-machined parts, as well as mounts. Its lens barrels cover diameters from 6mm to 240mm, with inner and outer diameter accuracy reaching IT6 grade, showcasing strong technological adaptability and market versatility. Cam curve tubes achieve coaxiality accuracy of 0.012mm, and mounts achieve flatness accuracy of 0.012mm. In surface treatment, Phenix Optics offers aluminum anodizing and iron-based anodizing, with film thickness precision of 0.015±0.003mm and a daily production capacity of 55,000 pieces, fully demonstrating its excellence in precision machining and surface finishing.
Particularly noteworthy were the ultra-low reflectivity oxidized metal structural components. Using an iron-based oxidation process, the diffuse reflectance in the 905nm–950nm near-infrared band is controlled to below 5%, making them widely used in automotive LiDAR lenses and other applications.

Lens Business Division: Comprehensive Coverage from Visible Light to Infrared and Medical Lenses
The Lens Business Division was a highlight of Phenix Optics’ exhibition, covering visible light lenses, infrared lenses, and medical endoscopes.

In the field of visible light lenses, Phenix Optics showcased a range of cutting-edge products for LiDAR, automotive projection, security, ITS, 3D printing, and more. The automotive projection lenses are IATF16949 certified, maintaining precise focus across a full temperature range of -40°C to 85°C, with excellent stray light and ghost image suppression, delivering sharp and clear projection images. The entire process from design, precision lens processing, to assembly is fully controlled in-house, covering mainstream automotive projection scenarios such as AR-HUD and rear-seat entertainment.

In plastic optical components, Phenix Optics displayed shaped aspherical plastic lenses, lenses for automotive and drone applications, lenses for security surveillance, lenses for projectors, LiDAR windows, AR/VR lenses, and domes. AR/VR lenses can reach outer diameters of 70–150mm with PV accuracy within 30–50μm, offering high reflectivity and excellent weather resistance. The dome lenses achieve visible light transmittance above 92%, are lightweight, and feature excellent mechanical properties and heat resistance, making them suitable for demanding climatic conditions.

In infrared lenses, Phenix Optics presented multiple infrared thermal imaging lenses compatible with various detector specifications, covering focal lengths from 3.1mm to 100mm, with F1.0 aperture and relative illumination ≥90%. The all-chalcogenide designs combine athermalization with cost-effectiveness, widely applicable in night vision, temperature measurement, security, and fire prevention.

In medical endoscopes, Phenix Optics showcased two rigid endoscopes: a 10mm laparoscope and a 4mm sinus endoscope. The 10mm laparoscope achieves 4K UHD resolution, with a color rendering index exceeding 92%, supports 0° and 30° directions of view, and has a working length of 330mm. It incorporates advanced processes such as brazed sapphire windows, laser marking, and laser welding, capable of withstanding more than 500 autoclave sterilization cycles, offering excellent airtightness and reliability, with a monthly production capacity of 1,000 units. The 4mm sinus endoscope supports HD resolution, has a working length of 175mm, a wide-angle FOV, and a depth of field of 3–100mm, also featuring high color rendering and reliable sterilization capabilities.
Scientific Instrument Business Division: Industrial and Biological Microscopes Side by Side
The Scientific Instrument Business Division exhibited two main microscope products. The BMC600 metallurgical microscope features a large field of view and high clarity, using infinity plan semi-apochromatic metallurgical brightfield/darkfield objectives, supporting three beam-splitting ratios, and equipped with a double-layer mechanical stage and K?hler illumination, making it an important tool for materials science research. The BME300-B biological microscope covers multiple application areas including education, healthcare, agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry, and environmental protection.

Intelligent Controller Business: Full Product Lineup
The Intelligent Controller business presented a range of products covering home appliances, industrial control, and medical equipment. The inverter range hood power supply board and inverter dishwasher power supply board adopt FOC vector control algorithms, achieving high power and energy efficiency. The electrolytic-capacitor-free EC fan driver board covers a power range of 0.75–5.5kW, using sensorless FOC algorithm to deliver high airflow, high efficiency, and low noise, with an all-film-capacitor design ensuring an ultra-long service life. Also on display were the canned-motor pump driver board and high-performance vector inverter, covering a wide range of applications from household appliances to industrial drives.

Industrial Lens and Automotive Lens Business Lines
The industrial lens business presented a 25MP 1.2" low-distortion industrial lens, 16K and 4K line scan lens series, a 1/1.7" 12MP industrial lens, and a liquid lens. The liquid lens, in particular, drew significant attention. It features an M12 mount, operates at 20–60V, supports working distances from 100mm to infinity, achieves low optical distortion of ±0.16%, and enables fast focusing without mechanical movement, providing a flexible and reliable solution for dynamic material inspection and intelligent barcode reading.
The automotive lens business presented surround-view lenses, in-cabin lenses, and front-view ADAS lenses, fully covering mainstream intelligent driving applications. Surround-view lenses support resolutions up to 8MP with a wide HFOV of 190°. In-cabin lenses support IR or RGB+IR dual-band designs, using G+P solutions for low cost and high performance. Front-view ADAS lenses feature excellent stray light suppression, meeting stringent driving safety requirements.
Conclusion
From precision optical components and metal parts to various lenses, and from high-end microscopes to intelligent controllers, Phenix Optics demonstrated its vertically integrated “optics, mechanics, electronics, and computing” capabilities with a complete product portfolio at OPIE 2026. During the exhibition, the Phenix Optics booth attracted numerous internationally renowned customers and professionals for in-depth exchanges.
